Itinerary Description:

Ker & Downey's Spain Curated Journey begins first in San Sebastian, where you will set out on foot to explore the city and gain rare access into one of the town’s most revered private gastronomic clubs (txokos). Here, Basque chefs prepare a homemade meal on their personal time and you’ll dine side-by-side with them at their communal table.

Next, head to Tolosa for its famed Saturday market. Just steps away, you'll prepare what you’ve purchased with the help of a local chef in an art gallery turned test kitchen. All this leads to an unforgettable afternoon at a friend’s 17th century caserio (Basque farmstead) where this Slow Food evangelist raises, among other things, the last remaining autochthonous breed of Basque pig. Enjoy a hosted lunch on his farm and learn about the strides he is making to revolutionize the food industry.

Your adventure continues in Girona and along the shoreline of Costa Brava as you walk between jagged cliffs, forage in the foothills of the Pyrenees, and undertake architectural explorations in historic Girona.

This groundbreaking Spain Curated Journey culminates with a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Celler de Can Roca, currently ranked the #2 restaurant on earth and universally acknowledged as one of the world’s most sublime and spectacular dining experiences -- what better way to toast the hidden world of Basque Country and Cataluña!

Those who wish to travel onward to Barcelona will be greeted with a dive into the heart of its eclectic, magnetic neighborhoods, and culinary gems. From the iconic, bustling Ramblas with its newspaper kiosks, performing mimes, and flower vendors, to the colorful, former fisherman’s enclave of Barceloneta, to lesser-known local favorites such as Gracia with its many outdoor cafés, leafy squares and bohemian flair.

Priced from $12,525 per person. Solo travelers opting for a single room will be subject to an additional single supplement cost. Ask your luxury travel consultant for more information.
