Itinerary Description:

Explore Botswana and Zambia, and follow in the footsteps of Gaborone’s one and only Lady Detective, Mma Ramotswe.

Spend three nights in Gaborone at the luxurious Gaborone Sun and spend two days touring the city and surrounding country side to learn about the history of Alexander McCall Smith’s extremely popular series. Visit several of the locations featured in the stories, follow the trails of some of the investigations, and even meet a few of the people upon whom the characters in the books are based.

After your exciting city tours, head off into the bush to explore the wonders of the Okavango Delta region with two nights at Kanana Camp and two at Shinde Camp. Enjoy game drives, gliding along the floodwaters by mokoro, power boat bird watching excursions, nature walks, and more.

Continue your journey in Chobe National Park at the beautiful Chobe Chilwero Lodge and discover one of the largest known populations of elephants, as well as a multitude of other game.

End your journey at Islands of Siankaba in Livingstone, Zambia, where you can explore the magnificent Victoria Falls. In addition to tours of the Falls and cultural visits, you can also arrange for a helicopter or microlight flight over the Falls (at extra charge).
