Located in the Mwiba Wildlife Reserve, Mwiba Lodge is set among massive boulders and overlooks a rocky gorge on the Arugusinyai River. Surrounded by ancient coral and acacia trees, it is an elegant lodge with eight beautiful and bright suites that are the ideal place to relax after a day of seeking out game in the 126,000 acre wildlife reserve.
The Mwiba Wildlife Reserve is located in the southern greater Serengeti ecosystem and is exquisite with lush botanicals, varied wildlife, and 33 freshwater springs. In addition to day and night game drives seeking out animals, you can visit local villages and take cultural tours visiting nearby painted caves. Back at camp, a grey slate-lined infinity pool overlooks three of the springs and the landscape below and is a refreshing place to spend afternoons after your morning game drive.
Eight double suites are elegantly decorated with linen sofas, ornately carved wood tables, natural suedes, tans, textured creams, and accents of black and charcoal. Floor plans at Mwiba Lodge are open with rooms flowing from one to the other. Bathrooms are retreat-like, with copper fixtures, large soaking tubs and private outdoor showers, and views from the deck out onto the landscape.Request Information
