Casa Andina Private Collection Arequipa is located close to the main square of Arequipa, just behind the famous Santa Catalina Convent. Originally the Mint House, this traditional building is a national historical monument, built of the same white volcanic stone as much of the rest of the city and featuring two beautiful colonial-style courtyards.
The hotel features 41 rooms, including one Republican Suite and three Colonial Suites, all with rich décor reminiscent of the colonial period and emphasis placed on the original architecture. Delightful views of the courtyards and surrounding “White City” are offered from the large windows, and each lovingly restored detail of the former mint will take you back to a bygone age. There is even a coin museum onsite to pay homage to the building’s history.
Enjoy dining in the hotel’s gourmet restaurant, featuring hip fusion cuisine combining international styles with Peruvian traditions. After exploring the history of Arequipa during the day, come back to the hotel’s bar and enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine, or take a nighttime stroll through one of the charming courtyards.Request Information
