Guests at the new Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp have exclusive access to more than 8 million acres of remote and desolate Africa where they can partake in morning and afternoon wildlife viewing drives as well as full-day excursions and nature walks in the area around camp. Very few people have the opportunity to view this corner of the world, where enormous elephant, giraffe, lion, Hartmann’s mountain zebra, and hyena miraculously thrive amidst the stark environment. Also populating the terrain are Gemsbok (oryx), springbok, steenbok, scrub hare, and ground squirrels. The full-day flight excursion along Skeleton Coast offers a completely different experience, showcasing jagged wind-swept beaches, cape fur seal colonies, and shipwrecks that punctuate the coastline. This is a vast, rugged, and isolated wilderness experience, and the diverse range of activities ensures intimate interaction with the spectacular sand dune scenery, unexpected desert-adapted wildlife, and endless dramatic coastlines of the region.Request Information
